Mark Schlicht

Having grown up in the area, Mark has spent the better part of his life hunting around Gwinn and Escanaba.

He now lives in Wisconsin where he supports upland hunting through guiding hunts for veterans, women, and youths with the local PF chapter, and he also teaches Hunter Safety.

Mark owns and operates BDM Gun Dogs Kennel, producing some great German Shorthaired Pointers.

He travels back to the Gwinn area every year to pursue his passion for introducing new hunters to the sport and chasing the king of the woods.

His string currently includes 3 GSPs (Jackson 8, Savannah 6, Willow 3).  These dogs are titled through AKC hunt testing and are a force in the grouse woods.
